Event Information

 

When is Electric Nation Festival?

Electric Nation Festival takes place on 30 October 2026 at Tumbalong Park, Darling Harbour, Sydney.

What are the event hours?

Gates open at 5:00 PM.

The event concludes at 11:30 PM, with the final artist performance scheduled to start at approximately 10:00 PM.

 

Where is the event located?

Tumbalong Park, Darling Harbour, Sydney NSW.

 

How do I get there?

The easiest way to get to the event is by public transport.

• Closest train station: Town Hall Station, approximately 10 minutes walk.

• Closest light rail stops: Convention Centre and Exhibition Centre.

• Public parking is available throughout Darling Harbour and Sydney CBD.

• Public bicycle parking is available nearby.

Is a costume mandatory?

Costumes are not mandatory, but they are encouraged to help bring the Electric Nation Halloween experience to life.

Our 2026 theme is Neon After Dark, a futuristic Halloween world inspired by neon lights, electronic music and after dark energy.

Think glowing accessories, cyber looks, colorfull outfits, rave wear, bold makeup and creative costumes.

Dress up or come as you are. Just bring the energy.

Tickets

Are tickets digital or printed?

Tickets can be presented either digitally on your mobile phone or as a printed ticket.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Yes. Tickets can be transferred through Humanitix.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are available up to 30 days before the event.

After this period, refunds are not available except where required by law.

What if I lose my ticket?

Please contact Humanitix directly for assistance with locating your order.

Age & Entry

 

Is the festival strictly 18+?

Yes. Electric Nation Festival is strictly an 18+ event.

 

What ID is accepted?

Accepted forms of identification include:

• Australian Driver Licence

• Australian Proof of Age Card

• Passport

• International Driver Licence accompanied by supporting identification where required

All patrons must present valid photo identification upon entry.

 

Can I leave and re-enter the event?

No. Electric Nation Festival operates a strict no re-entry policy.

Once you leave the venue, re-entry will not be permitted.

Food & Drinks

 

Will food and drinks be available?

Yes. A variety of food vendors and licensed bars will be operating throughout the event.

Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options will be available.

 

Can I bring my own food or drinks?

No. Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the event.

Exceptions may be made for medical requirements or special dietary needs. Please contact the event team before attending if this applies to you.

 

Can I bring alcohol into the venue?

No. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited.

 

Will free water be available?

Yes. Free drinking water stations will be available throughout the venue.

 

Can I bring a water bottle?

Yes. Empty reusable water bottles and sealed bottled water are permitted.

Is the festival cashless?

Yes. Electric Nation Festival is a cashless event.

 

What payment methods are accepted?

Major debit and credit cards are accepted throughout the venue.

Bags & Permitted Items

 

Can I bring a bag?

Yes. Bags are permitted but all bags are subject to security screening upon entry.

 

Are hydration packs allowed?

No.

Can I bring a selfie stick?

No.

Can I bring a camera?

Personal cameras and mobile phones are permitted.

Professional photography and video equipment may require prior approval.

 

Can I bring medication?

Yes. Prescription medication is permitted.

We recommend keeping medication in its original packaging.

Safety & Medical

Will there be medical assistance available?

Yes. A dedicated medical team and medical tent will be operating throughout the event.

If you require assistance, please contact event staff, security personnel or medical staff immediately.

 

What items are prohibited?

The following items are not permitted:

• Illegal substances

• Weapons of any kind

• Glass containers

• Fireworks, flares and pyrotechnics

• Drones

• Outside alcohol

• Any item deemed unsafe by event management or security

Accessibility

 

Is the venue accessible?

Yes. Tumbalong Park is a flat and accessible venue.

 

Will accessible toilets be available?

Yes. Accessible toilets will be available onsite.

 

Companion Card holders:

Eligible Companion Card holders can access a companion ticket.

 

Will there be accessible viewing areas?

Yes. Accessible viewing options will be available.

 

Are service animals allowed?

Yes. Registered service animals are welcome.

Weather

 

What happens if it rains?

Electric Nation Festival is a rain or shine event.

The event will proceed unless weather conditions are deemed unsafe by authorities or event management.

When will set times be released?

Set times will be released approximately two weeks before the event.

Will official merchandise be available?

Official Electric Nation merchandise may be available onsite, subject to availability.
